So, What is theHIVE?

Hive 241

Hive 241

TheHIVE is San Diego’s original co-working and business center establishment located in the East Village. We are a unique workspace facility with a large open loft layout to encourage collaboration. In addition to some semi private offices, we have multiple team office spaces and a private conference room, while offering a variety of pricing options with flexible terms.

The space is especially great for startups, small business owners, home-based businesses, internet companies, service businesses, programmers, engineers, software developers, web designer and developers, event planners, non-profits, graphics, creatives, social media, writers, PR, advertising and marketing agencies, telecommuters, freelancers, consultants, inventors, designers, artists and entrepreneurs.

Located in downtown San Diego, we thrive off the energy of the city. We have planted roots in the East Village neighborhood a few blocks away from some of our favorites: bar basic, east village tavern, café noir, and petco park.

You will have the ability to start small and grow within our entrepreneurial community and add more workspace, as you need it. In addition, we have integrated the San Diego Entrepreneur Center into theHIVE as an additional resource to help your business concept grow from an idea to reality.

What is Coworking?

"I found the HIVE through some freelance colleagues of mine, and through the bi-weekly Jelly coworking meetup hosted here. It has a cool environment and cool people, and it's great for a change of scenery for a freelancer like me who usually works from a home office.

The location is really convenient - there's plenty of good parking, food, coffee and beer nearby. I come in a couple times a week, and definitely appreciate the easy access to and from the 94."
