Is there a lease? For how long?

Every membership at theHIVE requires a signed agreement. The agreement term can be daily, 3 months (minimum part-time or full-time), 6 months, or yearly.

Do you require a security deposit?

A security deposit equal to one month’s payment is due at signup. Your deposit is fully refundable and will be returned within 30 days from your departure date, as long as you provide 30 day notice.

How many people can share my space?

Each desk space fits one individual comfortably. If you have another staff member that works with you on a daily basis, you may work alongside each other. Each paid full-time membership allows for unlimited guests. If you need to have a client in for a meeting or a few contractors work with you a few days out of the week, they are more than welcome.

What if I need more than one desk?

We offer discounts for additional desks. Contact us for pricing on additional desks.

Is theHIVE more cost effective than renting private office space in downtown San Diego?

We think so! Working together and alongside others is a huge value to us. You grow your network, you learn to run a better business, you share wisdom. We believe a thriving, inspiring place to work can improve productivity and increase innovation. Plus you are not responsible for paying any of the added utilities that you would be responsible for in your own private office space.

Where can I park?

There is free street parking available in front of our building and we have spots in a private lot for an additional fee.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept MasterCard or Visa cards only. Payment each month is auto-debited from your account on the first. We also accept checks with a $10 processing fee.

How do I sign up?

Schedule a tour and we will be happy to go over the paperwork with you to get you all set up.

Will I be kicked out of my desk if there is an event going on?

No. We have designed the space so that all full-time areas are blocked off during all scheduled events.

Do I need insurance?

Each individual business is liable for their own property, thus each business should have their own insurance to cover any theft or damages for their own property. HIVEHAUS takes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged equipment while on the property.
